The All UK database has just been launched on JCR-UK with about 55,000 records relating to UK Jewish genealogy.

Ancestry.co.uk have just started making 1871 Census images, indexed by name (Parts of Middlesex and four Welsh counties are available).  Note: This is a commercial website.

 

  Please note that this is a new website and many pages are currently UNDER CONSTRUCTION.  Please return in a few weeks time and there will be significant new additions.

         

This website is dedicated to the memory of my grandparents Lily and Alec Klenofsky (later Kaye).  Ketubah from their wedding is pictured above.

 

My name is Laurence Harris and I live in Middlesex, England.

I am a Member of the Council of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain and Chairman of its Information Technology Committee.  I am also a member of the National Archives User Advisory Group.
